I ordered the Rogues’ Gallery CD Friday, it arrived yesterday (Tuesday) and I have been playing it ever since. It is fantastic and I just love it. I can smell the ocean and feel the rocking of the ship when it's on, and I live 10 miles from the beach!!! I have ordered other things from you as well and will continue to do so, you're great! Keep up the good work mate!

Hola, all. I just love foundling and jingling these replica coins. I have found that a simple application of UltraLuster not only cleans and shines these coins, but adds a curtain smooth slippery feeling to them. As a Spanish knight of Santiago, I really enjoy playing with people that I meet along my path at Renaissance faires. Indeed we often use these coins for sport, gaming, and an occasional tip of a wench that I fancy. Hoping to meet all.

What a great find for me!!!!! In December there will be a play called "A Pirates Life For Me" a non-profit theater group run by a local woman who started out a few years back having a small group of area children show their talents on stage in a theatrical performance. It has grown to where there are three performances at a nearby college auditorium and tickets are selling like hotcakes!!! It gets bigger and bigger every year. So I was thrilled to find your site for some of my goodie bags for the concession table. Wish us luck!!!

Your selection of products are exceptional (I'm waiting for my first order as I type). Your products will be a great addition in enhancing our little towns Haunted House (Haunted Palouse 2007). So for a moment lets thank Sid Silvers, Lee Tracy (from Pirate Party pn Catalina Isle 1935 ''hints when I said good ol days'') Errol Flynn, and my good friend Jimmy Buffet for their part in leading a generation of upstanding, do right, perfectionists to piracy.

Belay and standby, lads. You sometimes print pirate verse in the log book, so here be a humble submission for yer consideration. If you find it to yer likin', I would be honored.  If not, then fair wind to ye.

PIRATE  BOY

Me fither were a sailor
and was ever out to sea,
Me mither were a tavern wench
and had no use fer me,
As an urchin lad in Bristol town,
  me life held little joy,
So I signs aboard a merchant ship
  and becomes a cabin boy.

We weighs anchor and sets sail
and we’re soon far out at sea,
|But I learns our ship’s a hell ship
  and our rations cruelty,
For the master was a dastard
and the mate were even worse,
And the bosun likes to swing the cat,
  and every word’s a curse.

I were just a younker
and I tries to do me best,
But the captain keeps me on the jump
  and gives me little rest,
Fer every small mistake I makes
he beat me ’til I cried,
And a seaman, fer some small offence,
  was flogged until he died.

The foc’s’le stank, the food was bad,
  the ship were undermanned,
After endless nights and days in hell,
at last we sights some land,
One blessed day at dawn we spies
  an island glowing green,
We fetches up in Kingston town
  and anchors in the stream.

The captain starts to drinking
with the bosun and the mate,
And they falls into a stupor
as the hour grows very late,
Hard knuckles has caressed me face,
me back knows well the whip,
So I haply joins me mates that night
  when every hand jumps ship.

I falls in with some likely lads
who says they have a plan,
And they doesn’t mind a pup like me
  among their little band,
A press gang’s out to grab us
but before we can be found,
we steals a boat and puts to sea
  and we’re soon Tortuga bound.

La Isla de Tortugas
  were a lively pirate’s nest,
But for fugitives like us
it was the Isle of the Blest,
There weren’t no laws nor gaols
as fer us to give a care,
And though I were a stripling lad,
  they welcomes urchins there.

The town were full of buccaneers,
  and painted ladies too,
All ’round was scum and villainy
  in skin of every hue,
Me life were free and easy
and no one knows me name
I runs with other boys like me
and a cutpurse is me game.

A pirate ship was fitting out
  and looking fer a crew,
A cabin boy were needed
and the captain says – “You’ll do.”
So I steps upon the main deck,
in the book I makes me mark,
And so becomes a buccaneer
  aboard a pirate bark.

The captain were a fearsome rogue,
  cruel as cruel can be,
The crew was cutthroats to a man
  and could kill most casually,
But the Articles was signed by all
  who sails aboard the ship,
And I nivver gets a beating
and I nivver feels the whip.

With no prizes in the offing,
  and food and water tight,
We starves and thirsts most equally,
  share and share alike,
But when fortune smiles upon us
and we boards and takes a prize,
Even lowly seamen
gets a share of equal size.

We doesn’t hunt fer British ships
and we leaves the French alone,
But we lays aboard the vessels
  of the haughty Spanish Dons,
We robs them of their silver
  and carries off their gold,
We takes their ships and treasure,
we was pirates brave and bold.

Then we sails to Port Royal
  and embarks upon a spree,
And the painted gals is friendly
to us lads just in from sea,
And in the frolics and the fighting,
in all the risks we ran,
I finds me place among this crew
and grows to be a man.

I leads the boarding parties,
and learns how to sail the ship,
How to sneak up on a galleon
and give the Royal Navy the slip,
Then in a battle with a Spaniard,
a broadside cuts our captain down,
And the crew they likes me style
and votes me captain, I’ll be bound.

To the crew I says – “Lay aloft, m’lads!” –
as I ups and takes command,
“Today we sails, through calms and gales,
  upon the Pirate Round,”
And they was game and says “Aye aye”,
and cheers me three times three,
So I lays a course and we steers southeast
  out on the open sea.

We puts the Florida Straits astern
  and the Windward Islands too,
We cross’t the Bight of Africa
with the favoring winds that blew,
Foul weather at the Good Hope Cape
  takes us near a week
Then we clears the Cape and runs northeast
  up the Channel of Mozambique.

We raises Madagascar
after a long and weary cruise,
In the harbor at St. Mary’s
we meets some other pirate crews,
There be drinking and carousing,
then it’s time to go to sea,
We weighs anchor and sets sail
  for the Sea of Araby.

We cruises east and we cruises west
  and we sails all around
One day the lookout sights a Mogul ship
  that’s Mecca bound.
So we chases and we boards her
and we picks the pilgrims clean,
And in her hold’s a treasure trove
  the like we’ve nivver seen.

 There’s gold enough so there’s
a thousand Pounds for every man,
It were spelled out in the Articles –
  that would be our plan
It be two long years aboard this ship
   a-sailin’ the Seven Seas,
So we squares away and comes about
  and huzzah fer the Caribbees!

Upon the broad Atlantic
  we overhauls a merchant ship,
Well, blow me down!  the master
is the dastard with the whip
|And his vessel’s still a hell-ship,
  and still the foc’s’le stank,
So I takes the cat and caressed his back
and makes him walk the plank.

Now I has enough of piratin’,
it be time to step ashore,
Swallow the anchor, beach myself,
and be a buccaneer no more
So I takes me chest of treasure
and jumps ship in Kingston town
I buys the guvnor’s pardon
  and becomes a gentleman.

Some of me mates finds berths ashore,
  but some returns to sea,
The lusty life in the Sweet Trade
  calls them back to piracy,
But sad to say these wayward lads
  gets imprisoned, drowned, or hung,
And I be left to tell the tale,
for I was the lucky one.

My relative the late Charles Gibbs.... Born in Rhode Island, Charles Gibbs confessed to the murder of nearly 400 people over the course of his career as a pirate.

He originally took to the sea as a member of the U.S. Navy in the War of 1812. At some point after the war, he joined a privateering ship. Perhaps not content with the rewards of privateering, he led a successful mutiny and became captain of his first pirate ship.

He is best known for his cruelty, often slaughtering entire crews of the ships that he took.

With the riches he plundered as a pirate, he left the sea for a time. But he squandered his money and in 1830 found himself a seaman again. He attempted another mutiny, but this time was unsuccessful and he was hanged at Ellis Island in New York in 1831.

His final words were "No mercy did we ever show, for dead men tell no tales."

I think no one knows the real truth about us, about our kind, about our history. Many of things have changed from the 18th century until these days. We hide still in the swamps of New Orleans are along the beautiful riverside of Vacherie's plantation Oak Alley. I, however, do not wish to leave this place, nor do I keep any records on my life, nor do I spend time reading poetic books of popular people. I am me, I am myself, I go freely about to whom or wherever I please, but, yes, I am still one who is alone, hidden upon the swamps and the days of the old oaks trees. There you will only hear me, but never find me.

I have been shopping around on the web, this site is excellent for shopping and selecting pirate items. With Blackbeard’s ship being found in the Carolinas, The Black Pearl and now Dead Man’s Chest, its alot of fun to hunt for treasure. Like Volvo's XC-90 searching the world for a SUV. WOW, it's exciting !!! And we are about to go on our 3rd cruise to the Caribbean, crystal blue waters.

I have looked around for pirate items and found the best stuff and at very reasonable prices. We have a park near us, IDEWYLDE and they feature Capt. Kidd's water playground for kids... I'm a POTC fan, BIG TIME! I'm positive that this site is gonna attract so many more like me. I own POTC: Curse of the Black Pearl on DVD, watched it too many times to count, and it never gets old. I also know the whole story of the second one. I read the book, POTC: Dead Man's Chest.

If you're a POTC fanatic, like me, then this site is DEFINITELY one you'll want to re-visit! I'm not quite done looking through its merchandise, and I've already ordered some stuff.

You're doin' great, Billy Bones! Thanks for such a "savvy" site!

This site is . . . one in a million. REALLY! I was just looking at Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl stuff and . . . pop! There you were. I am totally satisfied now. I haven't even finished looking through your merchandise! But, I like what I see, so far.

I'm a HUGE pirate fan, and as you can imagine, it's hard to find a decent website featuring pirates. But this place . . . whoa! This is . . . beyond decent. COMPLETELY UNEXPECTED. I'm only 12, and I've already ordered something from here. I can see myself in college, filling my apartment with this site's pirate stuff, ordering off of it every time I get some spending money. Can't wait!
