My
Side of the O.K. Corral Shootout,

Interviews with Doc Holliday
Written by
Wyatt Earp
and others

"One day six of the cowboys
came into town and proposed to run it. The Earps were informed of their
doings and they invited me to go over to where the cowboys were. One of
the Earps said, 'Throw up your hands; we have come to disarm you.' Instead
of putting up their paws they put up their revolvers and began firing."
-- Doc Holliday
"Bullets were flying
so fast that I could not keep track of them. Frank McLaury had given a
yell when I shot him and made for the street with his hand over his stomach."
-- Wyatt
Earp
Wyatt Earp's writings,
court testimony, newspaper interviews and other hard-to-find items from
contemporary sources are brought together for the first time ever in this
new collection published by Fern Canyon Press. This book is heavily illustrated
with photographs, drawings and maps. Wyatt Earp himself explains his side
of the Gunfight near the O.K. Corral and his experiences as a frontier
lawman in Tombstone and Dodge City. But that's not all. This unique book
also includes several interviews with Doc Holliday, Bat Masterson's tributes
to Wyatt and Doc, a shot-by-shot reconstruction of the famous gunfight
with diagrams, and much more. There is even a fold-out streetmap of Tombstone
at the time of the gunfight. The Doc Holliday section alone is large enough
that it could have been published as a separate booklet. The book is so
packed with information and pictures that we had to use fairly small, condensed
typeface to get it down to just over 400 pages, but we did it in a way
so that it is still easy to read.
Some of this material
hasn't been published in over 100 years, and some has never been published
before!

Hardcover and softcover, 5½"
x 8½", more than 70 photographs, illustrations and maps, 410 pages
Unfortunately this
book has been out of print for some time and due to its overwhelming popularity,
it has quickly become a rare book in high demand. Several years ago when
the softcover was still in print some book dealers were selling the softcover
for between $110 and $200. We are uncertain what they are worth now, but you are
lucky if you can find one available.
