When Universal Pictures was filming
Dracula
with Bela Lugosi, sound dubbing techniques had not been developed yet so
the studio filmed two versions of this movie using the same sets, but with
different casts. One version was in English and the other in Spanish. This
photograph is thought to be from the Spanish version of Dracula
starring Carlos Villarias (1931).
